Desonide cream 0.05% 10g is a non-halogenated corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and antipruritic activity. There are no halogens in the desonide molecule, so its antiproliferative effect on keratinocytes and fibroblasts is insignificant, which reduces the likelihood of thinning and atrophy of tissues at the site of application. It also induces the formation of lipocortins that inhibit the activity of phospholipase A2 and inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Generic Desonate reduces vascular permeability, chemotaxis, contributes to the stabilization of lysosomes, has a vasoconstrictor effect with the inflammation.

Special instructions
Hypersensitivity to desonide cream 0.05% 10g.
For topical use, increased intraocular pressure, acute corneal viral diseases (including those caused by Herpes simplex) at the stage of ulceration, conjunctivitis with ulcerative keratitis, eye tuberculosis, eye mycosis, purulent ophthalmia, purulent conjunctivitis, purulent blepharitis, barley are all possible.
For external use, bacterial, viral, fungal skin diseases, skin tuberculosis, syphilitic skin manifestations, skin tumors may be present.
The drug is not recommended for use in patients with corneal injuries and abrasions. When used on large skin surfaces or when the skin is damaged, as well as when applying occlusive dressings, it is possible to increase absorption and display a resorptive effect. In diseases causing thinning of the cornea, the application of Generic Desonate may cause perforation of the cornea.
With prolonged use, it is possible to increase intraocular pressure with the development of a glaucoma symptom complex with atrophy of the optic nerve and narrowing of the visual fields (therefore, when using drugs containing glucocorticosteroids, intraocular pressure should be regularly measured for more than 10 days), corneal perforation, and fungal infection.
With constant use for more than three months, cataracts may develop.
The drug is not recommended for use when wearing contact lenses. Before using the drug, remove contact lenses and put them back on no earlier than 20-30 minutes.
When used on large skin surfaces or when the skin is damaged, as well as when using occlusive dressings, it is possible to increase absorption and display a resorptive effect.
Corticosteroid therapy can hide the current bacterial or fungal infection.
Influenced ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms may be one of the effects of the drug.
